As we started to ease out of lockdown back in September, Ochre Botanical Studios and I decided to collaborate on a styled photoshoot as a fun project to lift our spirits and get us back into creating.
Ochre Botanical Studios is a new venture by a collective of Edinburgh based florists united by a mutual love for locally grown flowers. They have a space in Granton Castle Community Walled Garden which they are currently renovating and learning to grow their own flowers.
I made vessels and bowls in a palette we felt sat between Summer and Autumn - neutral greys and browns with pops of bright yellow and lilac. The florists at Ochre used these pieces to house their rustic, elegant floral styling and created a beautiful table scape.
