Last July I went on a trip around the most colourful places I could find in Italy and Southern France to feed my love for colour and inspire new palettes for my concrete creations.
The place I was most excited to visit was Burano which is a small island next to Venice. I had always dreamed of going ever since I discovered it through one of my favourite Instagram accounts - @colourspeak_kerry_. It did not disappoint - I fell in love! Every single beautiful building was painted in a different hue, with contrasting tones for the shutters and doors. There was amazing textures too, with the paint cracking and peeling, revealing the previous colours. I was so inspired to get home to the studio and create a bright range of vessels!
