I love to get out of the studio and explore to source inspiration, however with no options to travel for a while now I decided to return to my favourite past destinations through the photographs I had taken. Re-visiting these captured moments with fresh, appreciative eyes, I found new inspiration in them. I created a collection of new colourways from this period of reflection - each colourway is inspired by a place and a specific photograph. I am writing a blog post for all five palettes to share the photograph and story behind their chosen tones.
Introducing 'Sweet Parma Violet & Orange' - this sugary soft palette makes you crave something sweet! Delicate, pastel pink, raspberry and parma violet are punched up with bright orange. Inspired by my visit to Copenhagen in 2019 and in particular, the candy tones of Palads Teatret.
The palette runs through my core concrete vessel and homeware designs, available to purchase here on my online shop. As always the products are all carefully hand cast and finished in my studio in Edinburgh. Each piece is unique in textures and surface pattern - no two are ever the same!
