The last couple of months I have been working on a commission from New Music Scotland to create sculptural prizes for the Scottish Awards for New Music 2019. The awards celebrate innovative and experimental music in Scotland and they mirror this by selecting an artist to create unique objects for the winners.
I wanted to use the opportunity to create something sculptural and quite different to my main collection of products - something with curves mimicking the flow of sound. I thought I would share some images of the creative and developmental process here on the blog.
The designs were completed with engraved steel plaques made by Laserflair.
